Invisalign clear aligners in Bellevue Hill
A removable, discreet way to straighten teeth, planned from a digital 3D scan by a dentist who will see you through the whole treatment.
- Digital scan at your consultation — see the projected movement before you commit
- Aligners are removable, so eating, brushing and flossing stay normal
- Suitable for many cases of crowding, spacing and bite correction; complex cases may need fixed braces

A practice since 1950
Three generations of the Digges family have cared for patients on Bellevue Road, and many local families have stayed with us from their children's first check-ups through to grandchildren.
Assessment before treatment
Every treatment plan follows a clinical examination and, where needed, imaging. You get options and a written quote, not a sales pitch.
Cover and claiming
Claim on the spot with HICAPS for most private health funds, and we are a CDBS provider for eligible children.
General and specialist care
General, cosmetic, orthodontic, implant and surgical dentistry under one roof, with referral to registered specialists when appropriate.
What Invisalign treatment involves
Consultation and scan
Examination of your teeth, bite and gums, plus a digital 3D scan. We confirm whether aligners are appropriate for you.
Treatment plan
Your dentist plans the movement, and you receive a written quote and timeline before anything is ordered.
Wearing the aligners
Worn 20–22 hours a day and changed every one to two weeks. Removed to eat, drink anything but water, and clean your teeth.
Progress reviews
Reviews roughly every 6–10 weeks so your dentist can confirm the teeth are tracking to plan.
Refinement and retention
Refinement aligners if needed, then a custom retainer, usually worn at night, to hold the result.

Invisalign questions we are asked most
How long does treatment take?
It depends on how much movement is needed. Minor corrections may take around 6–12 months; moderate cases commonly run 12–24 months. Your dentist gives you an estimated timeline once your scan has been planned.
Will anyone notice the aligners?
They are made from clear plastic and trimmed to the gum line, so they are discreet, though not completely invisible at close range.
Does it hurt?
Most people notice tightness or mild pressure for the first day or two of each new aligner. That is the teeth moving. Discomfort levels differ from person to person, and you should tell your dentist if anything feels persistently painful.
What happens if I do not wear them enough?
Aligners only work while they are in your mouth. Wearing them less than the recommended 20–22 hours a day slows treatment and can mean extra aligners or a longer overall timeline.
Can Invisalign fix every alignment problem?
No. Significant skeletal discrepancies and severe rotations are often better treated with fixed braces or with orthodontic specialist involvement. Your dentist will tell you honestly if aligners are not the right tool for your case and can refer you.
Are there risks?
As with any orthodontic treatment, possible risks include tooth sensitivity, gum irritation, root resorption, relapse if retainers are not worn, and the result differing from the digital projection. These are discussed with you before you consent to treatment.
