Dr David Digges has a strong interest in cosmetic dentistry, general and family dentistry and adult and children’s orthodontics. He was one of the first dentists in Australia to introduce porcelain veneers. He also provides state-of-the-art crown and bridgework supported by Australia’s best laboratories.
David graduated from the University of Sydney in 1981 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. He practised in Newcastle, the United Kingdom, and Sydney. He is a member of numerous Dental Associations, including:
- The International College of Dentists (ICD)
- The Australian Dental Association
- The Eastern Suburbs Dental Group
- The Pierre Fauchard Academy
- The Prosthodontic Society, among others
David has served as chairman of the Australian Dental Health Foundation ADHF for a number of years and is currently the NSW chairman of ADHF. This foundation organises dental care for the underprivileged, such as people from Youth Off the Streets, Matt Talbot Hostel and the St. Vincent De Paul Society.
A strong believer in giving back to the community, David has travelled to Balgo and East Timor to help people who would otherwise receive little dental treatment.
Outside of dentistry, David is married with three children. He enjoys spending time at North Bondi, where he is a volunteer Surf Lifesaver and getting away to the bush.
